This is what I have learnt from Ecclesiastes.

Vanity of vanities, said Ecclesiastes, and all things are vanity.

In the final two verses of Ecclesiastes, the Preacher summarizes his thoughts.

So much for the mood. There are, however, also intellectual arguments in Ecclesiastes.

Ecclesiastes 3:10-11: He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men.

Let us listen to his conclusion of the matter at the end of Ecclesiastes and make this wisdom our instruction.

The book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible’s Old Testament says that it is foolish to long for the old days.The wise look toward the future.

In the conclusion of the Book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon gives his final recommendations based on what he has learned during the course of his search for meaning in life.
